A tour of intramuros provides a deeper understanding of Manila's rich heritage. A fortress-complex built in 1571, Intramuros served as the political, cultural, educational, religious and commercial center of Spain's empire in the east.
Fort Santiago - the pre-Spanish wooden settlement of Rajah Sulayman. The Fortwas Spain's military base and served as a dungeon to thousand of Filipino political prisoners.

Manila Cathedral - one of the churches that survived the war and natural calamities. It is the seat of the Archdiocese of Manila.

San Agustin Church - built in 1571, houses a collection of ecclesiastical art and artifacts. It is one of UNESCO's World Heritage sites.

Casa Manila Museum - a reconstructed 19th century mansion replete with authentic furniture and furnishing of the colonial period.

Bahay Tsinoy - a museum that preserves the cultural and historical legacy of the Chinise Filipino.

Aquario De Manila - located along Puerta Real, has a collection of different species of marine life.
RIZAL PARK - Still popularly known as the Luneta, the park is a tribute to the country's national hero. Dr. Jose Rizal.

Rizal Monument - was designed by Swiss scultor Richard Kissling in 1912.

The Orchidarium - features a butterfly pavillion, an orchid collection and a rain forest at the heart of the city. Dine in restaurant called "Lush Life" amid MAnila's most delightful secret garden.
Quiapo and Sta. Cruz are traditionally referred to as downtown Manila and together with Binondo, are part of the old district of metropolis.

Binondo Church - built in the 17th century, is the shrine of the first Filipino saint, Blessed Lorenzo Ruiz

You can start your tour at the PLAZA RAJAH SULAYMAN and the MALATE CHURCH, one of the oldest churches outside intramuros.
